Is your sink clean, empty and shiny?

I followed a lady called The Flylady (check her out at www.flylady.net but I warn in advance, you could spend days reading all of the amazing material on her website and in her book!!!)

The first principle of decluttering is to find the place to start. We always start with the kitchen sink. As the sink goes, so does the rest of the kitchen. So if yours is full of dishes or not shiny - go and empty it, even if you just have to load everything onto the counter so you have a place to start - do that.

Then shine your sink. The Flylady has amazing instructions on this which I will try and link you up to it here later on!

Just empty it - wash it with some soap and use some windex to make it shine...

We'll do more tomorrow. Wash your dishes if you need to/want to - but make sure to leave your sink all empty and clean when you go to bed tonight. It's so nice in the morning...

More tomorrow...

Remember - you don't have to be rich to be clean! (I heard that from a friend once and I always think about it when I am cleaning up the house - anyone can do this - and you don't need any special supplies or cleaners... just motivation and some elbow grease.)

Stop now and get to it!

I knew it was going to be because of Flylady, love her site! I actually found it through another girl at the turtle! And Fly Lady is precisely the reason my sink was clean when I took the pick! Can't wait to see what else you have in store for us Kim!

I laughed out loud-seriously I clean all my sinks and scrub all the toilets every other day- I am a little OCD about these things
