And I dodged an unlucky forgetfulness last night. I was at my sister Megan's brand new house - she was unpacking and since we live so close to a grocery store and I needed a few things anyway - I thought I would run over and get my stuff and get her some milk and bread and cereal and I filled up my cart and got to the produce section at the end and realized -

bags...
are...
in...
the car!
Well you can imagine that it is like 8:30 and I just want to get home and well, I am running out of grocery bags and stuff so ...
I parked my cart with the self-scan cashier and went out to the car to get the bags. No way was I taking ANY!
And when I was all done and feeling kind of good - I gave one of the cloth shopping bags to my little sister too - she said she has 4 but I figured she could probably use a few more!
I was kind of proud of myself for running out to the car! Be proud of yourself today too!
Only a few more days and we are on to decluttering - are you ready!???

All right Kim! I too am doing really well - I have brought one bag in myself - not even my fault -my friend had it packed with baby clothes (so does it count as we are recycling? It is going to Steph's with the clothes still in it).
Steph has brought 2 bags in in all this time! It seems we are all at least being more conscious of the efforts to be green!
Good for you Kim!!! I forgot my bags yesterday also, but remembered to ask for paper! Not ideal but better than the dreaded plastic!!!
Decluttering....I think I need to take a look at the stuff I haven't touched since we moved in 5 mos ago!
Good job Kim! Way to go back to the car. I saw your stash in there last night and it is a good one!
